Projects Renewable Diesel Facility Expansions
Expansion projects at renewable diesel facilities in Louisiana and in Texas
Renewable/Alternative Fuels
St. Charles and Port Arthur, LA and TX
EPIC supported two expansion projects at renewable diesel facilities in Louisiana and in Texas. The facilities will produce renewable fuels from a feedstock comprised of recycled animal fats, used cooking oil and inedible corn oil. The Louisiana expansion project will add 400 million gallons per year to the existing facilities near the St. Charles refinery. Once online, the total capacity for renewable diesel at the facility will reach 690 million gallons per year. This facility also has the capacity for 30 million gallons annually of renewable naphtha. EPIC supplied over 8,000 spools for the project and 348,490 diameter inches of pipe.
The Texas expansion project will add 470 million gallons per year to a new renewable diesel plant in Port Arthur. This facility also has the capacity for 30 million gallons annually of renewable naphtha. EPIC supplied over 5,500 spools for the project and 265,201 diameter inches of pipe.
- Averaged a production cycle time of 6.5 weeks across two facilities
- Leveraged MATVIS project information to seamlessly execute two projects via one integrated system
