MEGlobal, a wholly owned subsidiary of EQUATE Petrochemical Company, constructed a new world-scale monoethylene glycol (MEG) manufacturing facility in Texas in 2019—its first U.S. location. EPIC manufactured and delivered 19,048 fabricated spools, including carbon, stainless, and high alloy stainless steel (Inconel & Monel) in a nine-month, end-to-end turn around.

Our critical path expertise contributed to the world-scale facility starting up eight months faster than industry average. EPIC welded over 700,000 diameter inches and over 5,000 tons of total weight, with pipe diameters up to 72 inches. We received a letter of appreciation from the CEO of EQUATE and an invitation to attend the ribbon cutting of the facility upon commissioning.
